Drive In

Pada saat liburan sekolah, di koran kami sering menemukan discount voucher untuk menonton film. Pada tanggal 11 January 2011, kami menemukan voucher senilai $10 per mobil untuk menonton film Tangled, film kartun anak-anak tentang Putri Rapunzel, di Gepp Cross Drive in plus sekotak popcorn gratis.
During the school holiday's, we often found a discount voucher in the newspaper for the movies. On 11 January 2011, we found a $10 per car voucher for the movie showing at the Gepp Cross Drive-in, Tangled, an animated feature about Princess Rapunzel, plus a box of popcorn for free.

Filmnya dimulai jam 9 malam, tapi untuk menemukan tempat yang enak kami sudah tiba disana sejak jam 8. Kami menemukan tempat bagus di tengah baris kedua, jadi tidak terlalu jauh dari layar. The Gepps Cross Drive in ini cukup besar dan merupakan drive in terakhir yang masih beroperasi di Adelaide.
The movie was due to start at 9pm, but to find a good spot, we arrived at 8.  We found a great spot, which is not too far from the big screen, 2nd row center. The Gepps Cross Drive in is a quite large and the last one in Adelaide.

Untuk mendengarkan filmnya, kamu bisa membuka kaca jendela dan mendengarkan melalui pengeras suara atau memutar gelombang radio mobil di 96.1FM.
To hear the film, you can either hang a speaker on your car window or tune your car radio at 961.1FM.

Kebanyakan penonton adalah keluarga dengan anak-anak, tapi voucher ini dibatasi hanya untuk 5 orang per mobil. Karena saat ini musim panas, banyak keluarga membawa kursi lipat dan duduk di luar mobil. Ini tentunya menjadi pengalaman yang menyenangkan untuk anak-anak. Tapi, saya lebih suka duduk di mobil saja, karena saya sudah memakai baju tidur ( seperti kebanyakan anak-anak). ^_^. 

Most of the audience were families with kids, but the voucher was limited to 5 persons per car. As it is summer time, some brought folding chairs and sat outside of the car. Well, it's loads of fun for the kids. However, I preferred to sit inside the car, because I wore my pajamas (like so many of the kids!). ^_^. 

  

Karena kami akan menunggu lebih dari satu jam, saya membawa buku dan buah cherry, jadi saya tidak akan bosan dan lapar saar menunggu. Kalau David memilih untuk membersihkan kaca depan mobil, agar lebih jelas menontonnya. 

Because we had to wait for more than an hour, I brought my book and some cherries, so I won't get bored or hungry while waiting, while David choose to clean the windscreen, so we could watch the film more clearly.
